Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to use this site and our apps, including people who rely on assistive technology.

The standard we build to

Fernando Enterprise builds this website to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, and checks its apps against the platform accessibility guidance from Apple and Google. We treat an accessibility barrier as a defect: it is logged, fixed and re-checked like any other.

This website

Every page has a skip-to-content link, a single heading order, landmarks for navigation and main content, visible keyboard focus on every link, text alternatives on meaningful images, and text contrast of at least 4.5 to 1 in light and dark appearance. The site uses no scripts, no forms and no moving content. Each change is checked with keyboard-only navigation and with contrast measurement.

Our apps

CA Hunt & Fish Guide was checked in October 2026 with Apple’s accessibility audit tools on 26 screens, and the record of that check is kept. What that check established: the Terms screen, the purchase flow and the regulation lists and details are readable by a screen reader and carry labels; season status is spoken in words, not colour alone; text follows the size you set in iOS; and “Map as a list” gives a free text alternative to the map. What it did not establish: a hands-on VoiceOver run on a phone, which has not been made, and the contrast of the standard iOS secondary grey text, which stays below 4.5 to 1 unless Increase Contrast is on. Each later change is checked the same way before a release, and what a check finds is fixed or listed here.

Report a barrier

If something here or in an app does not work with your assistive technology, tell us at support@fernandoenterprise.com. Say which page or screen, what you were using, and what happened. We answer within five business days, and we fix what we can in the next release. If you would rather write, the mailing address is in the footer of every page.
